http://www.rommanimaroc.fr/ Chers amis, Lors de notre voyage au Maroc en mars 2005, nous sommes passés à Rommani (anciennement Camp Marchand) pour revoir le village où la famille Dott a vécu jusqu'en 1957 et donc où j'ai passé une partie de mon enfance. Par le plus grand des hasards, alors que nous étions devant la maison, un marocain (Miloud) s'arrête, nous interpelle : c'était le fils d'un ancien employé des Ponts et Chaussées qui a travaillé avec mon père. Après plusieurs heures passées dans la famille de ce monsieur et en souvenir de mes années d'école primaire, nous avons convenu de faire quelque chose pour les enfants les plus démunis (surtout les filles) qui vont entrer à l'école pour la première fois en septembre. Il s'agit de leur procurer quelques fournitures (cartable, cahiers, crayons…) et si cela est possible un tablier. Nous achèterons tout sur place pour faire travailler les artisans locaux (Miloud s'occupe de faire faire les devis). Nous espérons que vous serez sensible à cette action qui n'a rien de spectaculaire mais qui je l'espère s'inscrira dans le temps avec plus de moyens. Pour cela, nous avons créé une association loi 1901 : « Anciens et Amis de Rommani (Maroc).
